If you're new to the world of lip-gloss nails, let us introduce you to this can't-miss nail trend that's recently taken over our social media feeds . “This nail trend, seen on Jessica Chastain, Hailey Bieber, and Anitta, mimics the glossy finish of lip gloss applied to bare lips or nude lipstick,” says Tinu Bello, celebrity manicurist and Mylee brand ambassador. “It's all about the glossy finish—you want your nails to shine and look jelly-like from every angle.”
To wear this trend at home, "Start with polished nails, super clean and filed to perfection," says Bello. For your base colour, choose between a clear, milky nail polish like Jessica Chastain, a pearly pink like Anitta, or a light shade like Hailey Bieber. “Last but not least, apply a few layers of a glossy top coat for the ultimate lip gloss finish,” Bello continues. “This look is stunning on medium-long nails, but also works perfectly for shorter lengths and shapes,” adds Juanita Huber-Millet, founder and creative director of Townhouse.
